My paradox/paradigm in pHoTogRapHiCs
As today’s dateline, I am, finally, about the finesse` of maintaining arts w sCuLpTs and ph0t0’s w the properly adjudicated context. As a wore-out my Kodak Instamatics #104, #105, #107 the outsourcing in interests I maintained was not to have interruptions—1965 thru 1968. I was then a student @ the Colorado College who had also found several “journalist-Type: black & white” camera’s users. Each had several camera’s mostly SLR-35’s, altho some had Hasselblad’s. David Burnett was one such @ CC, while another was at UC Berkeley, where I had started gRad-Studies between sophomore and junior years. I wanted to analyze landscape via the science of Ecology—not yet in many journals of Scientific investigation and study.
The one who’s name slips my attention, utilized a universal-approach, which was to denoue, via human-consciousness, an ambient sense, or cognitive introspect for visuality can be seen later as well as surrogated: now. However, simultaneously, Wm. R. McDonald, classmate, tried to entice my geo-Morphics (geographic regions & covert-Ecology: as structured format) w surreptition of wherever you go ‘we shall interlude and interrupt, you’. This was egregiousness and anathema to purist-templates. Many people have stated that way is not wholly mannerism, but traditionalist surrogate of adjunctive measuring. Theirs, however, not mine. I do not like intelligence from near nor afar, but I do respect discourse and diatribes of what’s done may not be accomplished—foreinstance.
The next enticement to overcome and/or surrogate was thru Roger Appleton’s photo-ing and instructioneering color slides (chromes) into darkroom: black and white. We got into a group foraging for learning that later involved the one armed photographer: Andy (?) and Bill (?) . Bill later went onto Albany CA to open or rather takeover a camera and film sales storefront and Andy eventuated 2-3 years afterward, werking his freelance. Meanwhile, I was into “anti-Nuclearist protests and disseminations” what is known and what is renown! Whereupon, I utilized more others slr’s and had learned what to find compositionally. I could not afford much less accept not having images of us protestoR’s however, memory was never enough, too!
Double frustrations aside, I needed my own space for hands-on sculpturing and that happened in 1973, w a loan grant from my father of $2,500 for 2-year lease on space-Place: civic Ave. Hayward Hill—near Cal State University, Hayward. There I got partially into still-Life study of my metals-sCuLpTs some which I’d brought from Colo Spgs CO, and some from UC Davis, where I studied casting in bronze and aluminum w Tio Giambruni and student: t-a’s. Secondarily, being a socialist, my dispositions had shifted into high-Pump, all for Ecosocialism, which I had also adjudicated, 1967, as needful because Ecology is radionuclides-Poison—both CA and CO. I am now on camera #25, as my two P520’s Nikons went the ways to plastics—one this year, alone.
However, the laments of not producing arts-Exhibit photography after shows galore has stepped me, yet to get behind “illegal: UN-declared wars-Warring” as well as anti-Nuclearism contests for NSDU-238 to balance or equate at each and every ‘turn of the knuckled coin’. What had I that others may never have discovered was: interest in visual-Accuity connected w visuality-Sourcing i.e. not a scourge, but high-energy! I started w Ansel Adams in the Presidio when 6 years and 8-years the same place order of cybernated- Entropics. I carried Edward Weston’s8” x 10” camera across sands of Carmel Valley River, at Carmel beach, 30-hearty lugging paces—also when 8-years. Then, in 1961 got re-acquaintanced w Ansel as he gave course of instructioning, and as I met him in the field. Hetch-Hetchy tRail in Yosemite, Nat’l Park 1971; Alaska @ Mt. Denali–Denali Nat’l Park @ 8,600 feet giving him my camp-spot—Marmot c.g. Then, again w Prof Sam Trull excursioning on the clearest non-smog day coastal Range overlooking central Valley CA, in 1974 w Morley Baer and each of us approaching from a four-winds direction.
I took the portRait-Photo of Ansel, off the Monterey-Salinas CA highway, a black and white that he set-up due to hos constant of running me from trails and camp-spots—as a social-Gesture of appreciation. My nite-time’s were expending space-Time forwarding images to worse-Best as I inter-tied nuclear-Molecular: thought-discourse w scientific readings and travails of social-Epistemology. Thru-out the 1980’s, last century, Rev Paul and Prof Sam were consternate, that I report some advancements on and off, both adjunctive-Correlatives. My philosophical-Ecosocialism was advancing but driving OTR tRuk had ruined many a person’s hands.
Yet, many associations between choices of pronoucements, where to travel to get w.i. interests of forests and mTNs. valles and Valleys, deserts and roadways, was involved and tiring not to have found a spouse on many of those café’s greetings w women-Waitresses and locals—western-Expanses I thought coupled well w anti-Nuclear: protesting, but plutocracy put we-People to sleep and made them abject to intellect/intelligentsia, too! the 1980’s studies of sierra’s was lost at Oro-Bar, or at least I am yet searching for whomever may have that collection. R-A pHoTogRapHiCs was renown from 1977 thru 2008 for my trukken and photoing—togetherness! Complementing the outset of websites in 1998, I sought as hard as I could to get going and was editing my Nikon: CoolpixS4’s images on my iMac.
Since 2008, I’ve edited and gone thru camera’s and computers—both! The egregiousness from others imbibing and interfering w what I am photo-ing and what I may be thinking is discursive and interferes w my discoursing Ecology and titles, editing and memory-Wirking, too! Many decades have gone w my participating in UN-usual for the profundity of visual consternation. I am a professional and I do gReat photo-ing altho thieves are a-Hole non-Participants. I am tired of the usuries—like, I need a good backyard mechanic, too!
