places not to visit again, Daiichis, nev-Testsite, Chernobyl, Chelyabinsk-40

My stoRies actually begin 1957 w the we-BoomeRs. Then, continuing post B.A. degRee, in Berkeley CA, when over 70% of whom were for pRotests against “u.s.a. military reservations” at least, since we were already “the  Revolution Now” affinity gRoup, as we had ‘all’ come from everywheresville to find peace-gRoupings w.o. gRopings and disassociations. Realizing this, I was selected to represent the group whenever I got into pRoximity for NSDU-238 discussions, knowledge, knowhow on that weapon of masse` SICKNESS. Whereupon, this-One had visited as a “citizen-Inspector” all of the nuclear-Molecular facilities in u.s.a. and in Canada, where I was proceeding to at least accomplish similarity–alas, a tRyst of several attempts over 3-decades.

+ Where to start w tReaties on NSDU-238, then theRmo-nucleArs, then D.E.W. oNLY

I’d always wanted to visit Murmansk Harbor, because what industrial-Resources had provided the Soviets to win WW-11 and Chernobyl was en route. There was a fourth addition, one where pu-239, and oNLY that was “dumped into a fReshwater canal, which advertently became a lake and actually gRew gReen-algae. Whereupon, I was introduced to how bio-Remediationing could be directed in other ways for “cleansing” the h-2-o atoms. How was that possible, in other words? The third reactor was being built and the second had been blown-up by “error”.

+ 1969, visit into fRenchmen’s Flat

The fumaRoles, were roiling pots-of-highly contaminated-Radionuclides, but nevada-Testsite from inside, was a probity where the word-term “liquid-Seclusion” or “liquid-Radionuclides ponds” most likely oRiginates. These were walled by offensive puke colored and gRayish-colored and glassy-Dirt walls for retention, never for earthquake allowing any-ole spillages. Altho we proved beyond a doubt that there was this 2.5 miles wide-Extent valle` of destitution where nothing would grow unless, my thought “bacterium-Radioactive”.

+ 1971, visit inside Hanford “gRaphite ReactoR”

The reactor that produced pu-239 in 1944, also produced more in 1945, soo that a “bombski-Bilt” could be made for chauvinist lack of reasoning for either a space-Age or  for a new-ImpRoved “pRopaganda-Machine”. NucleaRism won. How not nice, for sure!

+ 1977, the Daiichi’s protesting

Ecology gRoup was in Japan. Charley Klatt and I camped, while we pRotested on the enormous plot known as Daiichi NPP, as the nippons built a General Electric reactor-2 building. I was allowed to roam around but could not inspect the containment rooms. later, in U.S.S.R. I would be allowed under and inside the Vladimir Lenin NPP#4 (explosion 1986). The place was 20-stories high, counting 12-feet per story.

+ 1979, Three Mile Island, PA

I was there the day after the partial-Meltdown, and told to stay ten-Miles away after my inspectioning! I was on foot and dreaded what the others who were dRiving on island 3-vehicles might have for measurements., They said not much but at the level of partiality still finding locales of pockets. They indicated the releases were safer on Island, because they went miles beyond. Nice, soo I drove 50-miles to camp that nite!

+ 1981, U.S.S.R. Chelyabinsk-40

I’d read about the manner in which ‘bureaucratic-Stalinism had protracted a sleazy co-existence w tritium because cheaper than deuterium. The history on Chelyabinsk was incomplete, but when I stalwartly kept enterprising my research, afoot, in Soviet Union, w Ecology friends somewhere to be found, I was always followed but at a distance allowed to do my evaluations. Thus, from Semipalatinsk, to Chelyabinsk, but there was always a dead-end—no way out and I was not an arrestee. What happened was I was taken there to the “remnant of Chelyabinsk-40 explosion” the immense implosion-Site 240 sq kilometres in size from 1957 water atop; grotesque and at least the Soviet citizens who brought me there knew 5-minutes was an annual stay’s time-length. Next, onto Chernobyl, as I needed time to disassociate radionuclides and meditated upon where my body may have been passively impacted w uptake radionuclides. Altho, I did wear full clothing cover, masks were hard sought and may have already been used.

+ 1981, U.S.S.R. Rivne NPP–on the river…

Are tRavel tRavails backtRacked to the river; then, from there to the huge Ukraines power-plant 6-times NPP along the river. The river was a moras of dumpages in shallow water that could never ever be released into the river flows. Also, there was: “the Rivne Nuclear Power Plant, known too as Rovno which is six-Reactors nuclear power plant in Varash, Rivne Oblast, Ukraine”. We saw that in evening before sundown–the lights were on but, unfortunately, we had no measurement meters, or geiger counters!

+ 1981, U.S.S.R. the ‘Techa river’

This small lake was where high levels of pu-239 were located in pools that were separated from strontium-90. I was surprised that some foundation, had made this study, but the start was languished since 1957. This was as spoken above a treacheRous place to live  or even stay if you’d been in multiples of Radionuclides situations of Radionuclides high and low readings.

+ 1981, U.S.S.R. Murmansk Harbor

The harbor, once fishable but never agains, if Russians do want to lead the ways of industry by molecular-radionuclides: clean-Ups! The harbor was delivery point for $10 billions wAr-mAteRiel to U.S.S.R. 1942 thru 1944. Then, the rubber 6-feet dingy we paddled for 3.,5 miles w steel masts of nuclear-Contaminated ships, submarines and other glop. I was seRiously frightened, because of not speaking cyrillic language were an emergency to pend. I did not place my glove hands into the slaty bRinery, which that already was. Stench and the radionuclides-Galore!

+ 1986, after Chernobyl’s meltdown

“…leakage into the Atlantic ocean was pronouncedly reported on Fairewinds, today. That Iodine-139 has a half-Life extending over 1,000 years? My story of visit to England… to study Atlantic ocean contaminations areas was a wide and variegated misque of not-knowing-how Radionuclides affect the fishes, ocean plant-life, must and does need start here! This was 1986, after Chernobyl’s meltdown and killings of 550,000 people.” (sorry no link but check their neat website)

+ 1986, fRance, the Cogema Atlantic ocean…

Here, I met w fRiends of Chris Busby, or Dai Williams, both knowledgable in Sellafield plutonium-239, 240 contaminations off west-coast of UK, because they were British. The Cogema plant was also an NPP so they used one-Billion gallons fResh-water, daily. Yet they dumped the reactor byproduct cooling water directly into the Atlantic-Ocean. I scuba’d into 2-feet water–cold but after testing w an underwater meter for temps i.e. not a water geiger-Meter.

**more to come…

Bio-sketch (2-27-16)…

I started into believing that I would be able to show my data and my photogRapHics in 1996. By 1998 I was learning computers would gain ascendant methods thru technics of programming for a future connected to data and information. That was nuclear-Molecular finding(s) to share and my personal-Activism w first account specifics and engendering(s).

As cameras went 'digital-Tech' I fond that editing was also to follow in 2004. Then, in 2005 my first digital camera had replaced usage(s) of s.l.r. 35 mm's. I have no mercy nor pity for the thieves who have stolen my hard werk, as anxiety of what I allowed was mid-stReam--anyway! Those asshole-Pukes have cost me $1,000's on a fixed income and I remain single, sole-Survivor of two-Families w.o. offspring!
