anti-nucleaRist bloG # 241/ 19 Mar 2019: Fascist America is not so Good for any but Hegemony

The fanatic-penataGooons are bad enough to brace oneself, daily from that adversity. However, w the knowledge, that the u.s.a. is a debtor-Nation. Yes. And that the deficit is over 23 trillion dollars, because the munitions dealors made sure to buy-off intel-Gence or hone into NS.A. and leave cIAS for ‘destabilizationing”. Yes. Sooo, does that make the US-military “bad” or does the usages of NSDU-238 appease the litmus test that a nuclear-Molecular: weapon has yet to be defined in any form of “thoroughness”.  Wow, the US-military is Bourgeois. While the US-military-Hegemony is plutocratic, who needs to redress just who those “fascists are, since we already know the neo-Con’s. How does one invest in a debtor-State, other than allowing militarizationing of police and Sheriff’s dept.s and offices for just, that. UN-justly, we never voted for military-Hegemony yet fascist incursioning for police-State.            “R”

“A federal judge ordered Chelsea Manning to prison Friday morning for an indefinite period of time, after the former Army private, jailed for seven years for providing information to WikiLeaks exposing US war crimes in Iraq and Afghanistan, refused on principle to answer any questions before a secret grand jury investigating the media organization and its founder Julian Assange.

“The Socialist Equality Party unequivocally condemns the US government’s vindictive and criminal persecution of Chelsea Manning,” said Joseph Kishore, the national secretary of the Socialist Equality Party (SEP) in the US.

“Chelsea suffered solitary confinement, abuse and torture, and over six years of imprisonment for letting the American and world population know the truth. Yesterday, she once again stood firm to fundamental democratic principle and refused to assist the Trump administration in its vendetta to falsely incriminate WikiLeaks and Julian Assange. She is a heroic figure and she must be defended.

“Working people all over the world will never forget Chelsea’s courageous exposure, at vast personal cost, of the crimes of American imperialism. Amid a growing global strike wave, the Socialist Equality Party will do everything in its power to mobilize the working class to defend Chelsea, and free Julian Assange and all other class war prisoners.”

The Socialist Equality Parties in the UK and Australia are participating in rallies on Sunday, March 10 outside Ecuador’s London embassy and at the State Library in Melbourne, called last month to oppose the continued confinement of Julian Assange at the London embassy, and demanding that the Australian government intervene on his behalf and obtain his release from Britain with the right to return home to Australia. The demonstrations will demand the immediate release of Manning as inseparable from the struggle to free Assange.

James Cogan, national secretary of the SEP in Australia, issued the following statement Friday:

“The Trump administration’s imprisonment of Chelsea Manning for refusing to give false testimony against WikiLeaks and Julian Assange is an outrage. She has suffered more than enough for her courage and service to the truth. American democracy rolls in the gutter and is rapidly descending into the sewer of dictator-ship.

“The working class everywhere must come to Chelsea’s defence and take up the demand for the immediate release of Assange and all persecuted class war prisoners. The SEP in Australia will be redoubling our effort to secure Julian’s immediate return to this country with full protection. And we will be joining all international action to fight for the immediate restoration of Chelsea Manning’s freedom.”

The brief hearing before Judge Claude M. Hilton was the only part of the court proceedings involving Manning that was open to the public. Hilton rejected the argument by Manning’s lawyers that confining her to house arrest would better serve her medical needs. She has received gender reassignment surgery and requires complex medical attention. Hilton said the US Marshals Service would provide adequate care.

“I’ve found you in contempt,” Hilton declared, ordering Manning to jail immediately. The imprisonment in a federal facility in Alexandria, Virginia would continue indefinitely, he said, “either until you purge yourself [agree to testify] or the end of the life of the grand jury.”

The grand jury has been empaneled to bring espionage and conspiracy charges against Julian Assange and WikiLeaks. Manning revealed that the questions she had refused to answer on Thursday all concerned her interaction with the organization, which receives documents delivered to it anonymously and avoids learning the identity of contributors in order not to undermine their security.

Manning provided WikiLeaks more than 500,000 documents which she copied from military and government archives while serving as an intelligence analyst in Iraq during the US military occupation, in 2009. The material showed extensive war crimes in both Iraq and Afghanistan, including the notorious gun-camera video of a US helicopter gunship mowing down unarmed Iraqi civilians, including two Reuters reporters, later published by WikiLeaks under the title “Collateral Murder.”

Manning was arrested in 2010, convicted in a 2013 trial and sentenced to 35 years in prison, serving a total of seven years before her sentence was commuted by President Barack Obama three days before he left office.

Federal prosecutors subpoenaed Manning to testify before the grand jury and gave her immunity for her testimony, in the hopes of using it against Assange and WikiLeaks. But Manning has refused on principle to collaborate with the secret grand jury. She answered each question posed to her by invoking her rights under the First, Fourth and Sixth amendments to the US Constitution.”

However, one cannot state that “HEALTH-MEDICARE” is not fascist nor the egregiousness-Extent of the anti-Socialism in and of the power-Elites in the once-Waz: republic of u.s.a. The paradoxes are yet basic. The integrationing that american-Socialism party portrays is a non-Avowal or an avoawal. The fact is that coalitioning is crawling forth as the so-called liberalist-Tendeancy portrays themselves as the american-Diurnal way forward. Hardly. Why join the US-military for health-Medicare, when that is not democracy-Purpose unless you speak-out and then are cancelled from signing-up?           “R”

AND

There are those who state that imperialism cannot lead to ‘fascism’. This is a lummox approach to misunderstanding “plutocracy”. Like the one-Party parody of coRpoRatist control alongside fascist neo-Liberalism, crime is not punishable when you are a corporate sleaze addict preying upon either side w.i. the coRpoRate-sleaze system. Far too bourgeois, many of us may know. Primarily though, the powerful Vatican is as much a paradox as A.I.P.A.C. as both seem to have radicalized to present fascist-Mannerism of eradication on rights, and allowability of death to others. The police-State is not an answer to not focusing upon democracy when the state is focused upon illegalities o seven-Wars, none “declared” just present your military-Hegemony and the military bombs the obliterative schema into racist and rightwing fascist backlog.               “R”

Syrian socialist Ghayath Naisse, a member of the Revolutionary Left Current, spoke to Simon Assaf about the brutalisation of Syria, the goals of those intervening and the prospects for socialists in the region.1

SA: Let’s start with imperialism. What do those intervening in Syria—Russia, the Saudis, the US and Turkey—hope to achieve?

GN: Syria makes for a very particular case study in that virtually all the imperialist and regional powers are in action in the same territory.

First, let’s talk about the intervention by Russia and its allies. Russian imperialism has an important geostrategic interest in the region. After Libya, Syria is now the last bastion where Russia has had a military presence for decades. It has the naval base at Tartus, which has grown in recent years, and the air base at Hmeimim near Latakia. So, on a geostrategic level, if it loses Syria, Russia has no presence and no conduit for diplomatic influence in the Mediterranean basin.

That particular interest combines with a more general one. Since the ascent of Vladimir Putin, Russia has sought to recover its place among the great powers—to make the other imperialist powers recognise its place among them, by force if necessary. That shaped its actions in Ukraine and it’s also shaping what happens in Syria.

To understand the other imperialist “camp”, the United States and its allies, we must start from seeing that the Anglo-American invasion of Iraq in 2003 ended in failure and defeat. The departure of US forces in 2011 was a striking show of failure for US imperialism in the whole region and in Iraq in particular. What’s happening now with ISIS has allowed the US to return to the region, not just to Iraq but to Syria too, at least within the limits of a “low cost intervention”. That means it doesn’t need to put its troops on the ground but has a major aerial presence.

So, supposedly to confront ISIS, there has been a return of the US in Iraq. And in Syria, where the US previously had a minimal, largely diplomatic presence, it now intervenes directly. It has special forces around the border and in the north, and an incontestable air supremacy. That is what’s at stake for the US—its interest in returning to a region it had been forced out of. This is an important region for the US, where its allies such as Israel and the Gulf states were threatened by the uprising and revolutions that swept the region.

Part of the radical left criticises the US policy in the region for “doing nothing”. But that’s not true. The US has intervened; it has acted; it has done something. Its policy for Syria was to let the different groups kill each other on the one hand. But its objective was also to destroy the economic and military capacities of Syria, to the point where the regime—or whatever future regime comes after it—can never constitute any kind of threat to Israel.

It’s worth noting that the US didn’t initially take a firm position on the Syrian Revolution. Barack Obama called for Ben Ali to go after two weeks of the Tunisian Revolution, and for Hosni Mubarak to go after barely one week of the Egyptian Revolution. But his first declaration on Bashar al-Assad was in August 2011—five months after the revolution began.

Foremost among the other regional powers are the Gulf States, led by Saudi Arabia. In the first month of the Syrian Revolution, Saudi Arabia gave the Assad regime $3 billion in aid. They saw the breadth and radicalism of the popular uprising, whose dynamics constituted a danger for all the region’s reactionary and dictatorial regimes. When they intervened it was against the regime but also in support of radical Islamist factions, either directly backed by the Saudi state or by a multitude of other organisations it controls. And there was a flow of funding and fighters towards extremist factions such as Jabhat al-Nusra and Ahrar al-Sham.2 Little by little, with the Free Syrian Army struggling for equipment, these groups came to the fore of the military stage in Syria.

The second point for Saudi Arabia is its rivalry with Iran. Saudi Arabia has seen Iran gain influence in Iraq—thanks, incidentally, to the US intervention—and Iran’s allies Russia and Hizbollah are helping the Syrian regime.3 So a victory for the regime and Hizbollah over the Syrian Revolution constitutes a threat to Saudi Arabia that would curtail its influence in the region. For Iran, the Syrian regime has been an ally since the First Gulf War—the bloody, deadly conflict between the Iranian regime and Saddam Hussein in Iraq.4 That war killed and wounded millions and brought great destruction to both countries, with the help of the imperialist powers. Iran also has an interest in preserving a zone of influence that goes from Iraq through Syria to Lebanon. So Iran went in militarily on the side of the regime from the start, and it was followed, timidly at first, by Hizbollah from 2012. In 2013 Hizbollah leader Hasran Nasrallah said they were intervening in Syria to protect the holy sites of Shia Islam against the Takfiri.5 So the Iranian axis was part of the Syrian conflict from the start.

This rivalry inflamed the sectarian aspect of the conflict. On the one hand, Saudi Arabia helped extremist islamists, and, on the other hand, Iran intervened under its own religious slogans. These parties whipped up a religious conflict that hadn’t been present in the Syrian revolution.

For Turkey the stakes are slightly different. The Kurdish question has been the Turkish state’s nightmare since it was founded. The world’s largest Kurdish population is the one within Turkey’s borders. The Syrian Revolution allowed the liberation of the Kurdish people in Syria and brought up the question of Kurdish national liberation.”

One cannot state w assuredness, that street-People, whether pTSD ex-military gRunts taking-in the daily measures of exorcising “american-Socialiam” unless they are dRunks and ex-Military yet supportive of the “insincerity-Pat”. That one is this: I was in the US-military and I got bought that I have to publicly and everyday support the fascist-Principle that I have not served in the aggression, but was in uniform. Wow, what little that is! Many street people live better by planning a budget and maybe also have to support divorce payments, too. There are these compendiums of social-Significance which ought be incorporated w “socialism may help more than the alcohol or drugs”. The oligarchs-Technocrats have at that schema quite appellately. Harsh, to state the least. Where a coalition starts is in conversations w others—nonetheless—whether one states he, or she is proletariat and needs somebody knowledgeable to support. This means, of course, that support has maybe been, recognized and seems not enough. Significance has to be asked.

Thus, the begs-the-Question assertive(s), are those excessive, or complimentary. Mostly, I find the irresoluteness is that proletariat does not do much thinking and seems to partake more in assertive valuationing and/or dysfunctioning for US-military past w.o. actually knowing what in fool-heartedness, the history of wars-Seven, now is. That remains in questions. Ask those concertedly, and go back, don’t let focus stray day and day. This is righteously, or not. The latter is where the fulcrum and the crux are at issue and in issuance, because the esoteria is non-Reconciled w.o. the apparancy of historic-Fact, not merely histrionic ambience. Ambivalence is not a utilized police-Tactic, morally a concern for all, whether together w other socialists living in parks, vehicles, puissant concrete-Sidewalks or from expensive campground once every week, w children in tow.           “R”

“On March 15, 2011, peaceful protests erupted in Syria against President Bashar al-Assad’s regime, inspired by Arab Spring protests, which toppled presidents in Egypt and Tunisia.

Seven years on, al-Assad remains in power and violence rages across Syria. The conflict has claimed the lives of more than 465,000 Syrians and left over a million injured.

More than half of the country’s prewar population, some 12 million people, have fled Syria or been internally displaced, prompting a refugee crisis.

To mark the seventh anniversary of the start of the war, Al Jazeera looks back at some of our best documentaries charting the conflict’s many faces, from political power playing and undercover journalists, to refugee children and westerners travelling to Syria to join the fight.”

Generally, by watching these video’s once catches the refrains of children and their educational needs. “The CIA is conspiring with ISIS commanders in northeastern Syria supplying them with fake documents and then transferring them to Iraq, according to reports in Turkish pro-government media.

About 2,000 ISIS members were questioned in the areas of Kesra, Buseira, al-Omar and Suwayr in Deir Ezzor province and at least 140 of them then received fake documents. Some of the questioned terrorists were then moved to the camps of al-Hol, Hasakah and Rukban, which are controlled by US-backed forces. The CIA also reportedly created a special facility near Abu Khashab with the same purpose.

Israeli, French and British special services are reportedly involved.

An interesting observation is that the media of the country, which in the previous years of war, used to conspire with ISIS allowing its foreign recruits to enter Syria and buying smuggled oil from the terrorists, has now become one of the most active exposers of the alleged US ties with ISIS elements.

Another issue often raised in Turkish media is the poor humanitarian situation in the refugee camps controlled by US-backed forces. These reports come in the course of other revelations. According to the International Rescue Committee, about 100 people, mostly children, died in combat zones or in the al-Hol camp controlled by the US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces just recently.

In its turn, the Russian Defense Ministry released a series of satellite images revealing the horrifying conditions in the al-Rukban camp. The imagery released on March 12 shows at least 670 graves, many of them fresh, close to the camp’s living area. The tents and light constructions used to settle refugees are also located in a close proximity to large waste deposits.

A joint statement by the Russian and Syrian Joint Coordination Committees for Repatriation of Syrian Refugees said that refugees in al-Rukban are suffering from a lack of water, food, medication and warm clothing, which is especially important during winter. According to the statement, members of the US-backed armed group Maghawir al-Thawra disrupt water deliveries to the camp, using this as a bargaining chip for blackmailing and profiteering purposes.

Tensions are once again growing between Syria and Israel. Earlier in March, Syrian Deputy Foreign Minister Faisal Mekdad submitted an official letter to the head of the United Nations Truce Supervision Organization (UNTSO) Kristin Lund that Damascus” will not hesitate to confront Israel” if it continues refusing to withdraw from the Golan Heights.

Israeli media and officials responded with a new round of allegations that Hezbollah is entrenching in southern Syria therefore justifying a further militarization of the Golan Heights.”

What is the problem is that 5-million refugees have been displaced, as well as 456,000 civilians deaths disconcertedly, ISIS corralled and other armies convolluted. Secondly, any refugee camp ought have bushes/tRees. These videos, al Jazeera and Southfront, show lotsa tRuths, but no mentions by others on the needs of Ecosocialsm, no environment this and points on chalkboard, there.  In most aerial views on videos, there is constant of “chemicalizing: chem-tRails” weather-Sleaze, no mention those “its” are Ionizing and what of health-Polemics? “Since the start of the hot phase of the Syrian conflict and until September 2015, when the Russians officially joined the conflict, the Syrian Army and its allies have been suffering from a wide range of issues related to maintenance of military equipment. The lack of spare parts, destruction of infrastructure and a wide-scale economic blockade established by the US-led block are among the key reasons behind this situation. Iran contributed significant efforts to ease the pressure faced by Syria and its military. However, while Iranian forces appeared to be effective in so-called ‘asymmetric warfare’, Teheran had no needed resources to introduce and implement a system, which would allow the Syrian Army to restore its exhausted resources and capabilities.

This as well as the specific of the conflict, a constant necessity to fight in urban areas, forced the Syrian military to find a way to keep combat efficiency of its tank fleet on acceptable level by means turned out to be at hand. This led to creation of various DIY-style modifications of battle tanks employed. Many of these modifica-tions were varying from unit to unit. However, at least a part of them could be described as a result of centralized and consistent work of the Syrian military.

Before the war, the main battle tank fleet of the Syrian Arab Army consisted mostly of T-72B main battle tanks, as well as older T-62 and T-55s. According to estimations by the Center for Strategic and International Studies, Syria had as many as 5,000 tanks in the first decade of the 21st century. However, some researchers say that the actual number of the Syrian tank fleet prior to the start of the conflict was closer to 2,500-3,000.”

“Whistleblower Chelsea Manning is jailed for refusing to testify against Julian Assange, whose confinement in Ecuador’s London embassy puts the lie to much of the Russiagate fantasy.

“No journalist will go to prison for Russiagate lies even if they lead to nuclear war.”

In 2010, former US Army intelligence analyst Chelsea Manning leaked the “Collateral Murder ” video and the Iraq and Afghan War Logs, which implicate the Pentagon in war crimes and crimes against humanity. She leaked them to Wikileaks, and for that she was court-martialed, sentenced to 35 years in prison, then released after seven because President Obama commuted her sentence.

Now a grand jury in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia has jailed  Manning again , this time for refusing to testify in their investigation of Wikileaks founder Julian Assange. She refused to comply with the secret grand jury’s subpoena, saying it violated her First, Fourth, and Sixth Amendment rights. She also said that she’d already testified to everything she knows about what she leaked and how she leaked it during her own trial. So what is this grand jury looking for? We can only speculate since it’s a secret proceeding.

The other Assange investigation

Meanwhile, Russiagate skeptics and supporters of Wikileaks and Julian Assange should take particular note of Kentucky Congressman Thomas Massie’s exchange with Michael Cohen during Cohen’s February 27 testimony to Congress:

REP. THOMAS MASSIE:You said—and this is also in your testimony—in the days

before the Democratic Convention, you became privy to a conversation that some of Hillary Clinton’s emails would be leaked. Is that correct?

MICHAEL COHEN: Correct.

REP. THOMAS MASSIE:OK. Was that in—you said late July. Do you know the exact day?

MICHAEL COHEN: I believe it was either the 18th or the 19th, and I would guess that it would be on the 19th.

REP. THOMAS MASSIE: But it was definitely July?

MICHAEL COHEN: I believe so, yes.

REP. THOMAS MASSIE: Do you know that was public knowledge in June? This was Mr. Assange, and I’d like to submit this [Guardian article quoting Julian Assange in June 2016 ]— unanimous consent to submit this for the record.

REP. ELIJAH CUMMINGS: Without objection, so ordered.

REP. THOMAS MASSIE: Mr. Assange reported to the media on June 12th that those emails would be leaked. So, I’m not saying you have fake news; I’m saying you have old news, and there’s really not much to that.

Finally, a US Congressman stated what should have been obvious all along and read it into the Congressional record. The Russiagate-faithful press has since been spinning it desperately because after two years, the House, the Senate, and Justice Department Special Counsel Robert Mueller have all failed to produce hard evidence that the Trump campaign colluded with Russians—or Julian Assange—to defeat Hillary Clinton. (The Mueller investigation cost $25 million, and no one seems to have reported the cost of the House and Senate investigations.)”

Last of all, the wherewithal of US-diplomacy vying war-Mongering and invasion but not, diplomats making peace. Not the US-admins’ supporting United Nations and belonging to the I.C.C. makes a surety that empire will remain the “new-Rome”. This is a catharsis. The clashes of people in the, muddled, middle-East is dependent on having no-Resolve, as maintains an incapacitating emblematical disposition. Whether or not disinformation has been the actual resolve of US: intel-Gence does seem too contrary to matter as fragmentation, which that id-al is. ““ADOS followers throw away the internationalism of their forbears, embracing instead a sometimes polite, but always frank hostility toward immigrants of all nations on the grounds that they’re either economic competition for native-born blacks…”

Why can’t y’all just decide to be what you already are – more like us – a white co-worker named Travis asked me in the early 1980s. He was a diehard Southern Baptist, Reagan was the newly elected president, and we were working at the Chicago Pullman plant, laying on our sides all day or night, whatever shift it was, routing ducts and cabling in the tiny equipment rooms beneath Amtrak cars, talking politics and history. I’d just brought up the war in Vietnam, in which the US killed 3 million Vietnamese alone, and the murderous wars in Central America which were happening as we spoke. I probably threw in some references to the ongoing wars for liberation in southern Africa as well where the US was backing, financing and arming the wrong side as usual.

But you were born here, Travis insisted. Your parents and grandparents were born here, not over there. You’re an American, just like me. What are those people to you?

I never did get through to Travis. War crimes against black and brown people and a mountain of dead, likely communist foreigners meant nothing to him. His identity was not with humankind and certainly not with the working class. It was to his White God, his white or mostly white tribe whose flag was the stars and stripes and whom White God had deputized to rule the planet. In the decades since I have heard the same question posed a few more times. Why can’t black folks just be good Americans? Why shouldn’t we embrace empire and line up for our cut like everybody else? Well, now It looks now like Travis got his wish.

There’s an internet current of US-born black people calling themselves ADOS, the American Descendants of Slaves who seem to be trying their level best to be the kind of Good Black Americans Travis talked about.

The ADOS people claim to be relentless advocates of reparations for the crimes of slavery, Jim Crow, the prison state and more, but with an important right wing twist which sharply differentiates them from the previous generation of reparistas. ADOS followers throw away the internationalism of their forbears, embracing instead a sometimes polite, but always frank hostility toward immigrants of all nations on the grounds that they’re either economic competition for native-born blacks, that they’re stealing the contracts, the patronage, the affirmative action and similar spots which ought to go to native-born black Americans, or that they are somehow cashing in the accumulated moral and social capital which belongs to the US born descendants of slaves alone.

It’s a tribal thing, #LineageMatters, ADOSers tell anybody listening, and anyone not a US born descendant of US slaves on both sides of the family is in some other tribe. Until last summer’s wave of public revulsion at the deliberately cruel separation of refugee children from their parents at the border, the kindest sentiment you could find on ADOS Twitter feeds was the equivalent of Latinos don’t never stand up for us, why we gotta stand up for them?

Yvette Carnell and Antonio Moore, originators of the #ADOS name and hashtag would like us to believe ADOS is a movement. But that claim is made so often by so many canny self-promoters that it’s hard to take seriously without some kind of proof. Carnell has been doing podcasts, internet writing and commentary, and most recently YouTube blogging the past several years, while former LA assistant DA Antonio Mooreis a more recent entry into the world of internet propaganda. They’ve got a web site at ados101.com and plan to hold a conference this fall in Louisville.

“Yvette Carnell and Antonio Moore, originators of the #ADOS name and hashtag would like us to believe ADOS is a movement. But that claim is made so often by so many canny self-promoters that it’s hard to take seriously without some kind of proof….”

Politically bankrupt black Democrats of the black political class just don’t know what to make of #ADOS. CNN commentator, corporate lobbyist and former general counsel for the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation Angela Rye, following the lead of similarly enlightened Democratic pundits, has declared that the ADOS message originates with the Russians . Rye is worse than clueless, she’s the cynical mouthpiece of corrupted politicians and the lying political police of the so-called intelligence community, a great number of whom are also Democrats. These are the government functionaries who have guaranteed their budgets and careers by painting Americans in America who disagree with the establishment as foreign-inspired traitors for a century, since the Red Scare of 1919.

It’s the RussiaGate scam, and while some of the faces are new, the tactics are pretty old. Democrats get to lead us into permanent wars while avoiding responsibility for the failure of their party to represent anybody except the lords of capital. They accuse anyone with unanswerable arguments or inconvenient facts of being mouthpieces for foreign subversion. It’s cynical BS when they level it at the Green Party, or at Wikileaks and Julian Assange. It’s baseless garbage when they throw it at Black Agenda Report, and they have, by name. It’s errant nonsense when lazy corporate Democrat hacks like Angela Rye throw it at ADOS. But then the Democrats are a party of capital, a party of the permanent government.

ADOSers may be misguided, but they don’t take money or direction and have no need to borrow bad ideas from the Russians We’ve got plenty bad ideas already. Their insular tribalism, and ADOS co-founder Yvette Carnell frequently refers to #ADOS, American Descendants of Slaves as in terms of “our tribe” is entirely home grown and very very tribal. If you look, you can find similar, and similarly backward looking ideas represented in every country on this planet. Like patriarchy and monarchy tribalism is one of those ancient backward looking but widespread human social contraptions which belong in a museum.

The reparations advocacy of ADOS departs from the previous generation of pro-reparations activists, who for convenience I’ll call the Pan-Africanists, even though some of them probably reject that label.

The historic vision and practice of the Pan Africanist movement flowed through the careers of Guinea’s Sekou Toure, Ghana’s Kwame Nkrumah and the final years of W.E.B. DuBois’s life in Africa. Pan-Africanists had their own reparationist ideas, and by the late 70s and mid 80s significant numbers of Pan Africanists had entered the academy. They were influenced in the United States by the current that flowed through SNCC’s James Forman who called upon white synagogues and churches to hand over $500 million as black reparations to philanthropic organizations, printing and publishing enterprises and organizations that included the National Welfare Rights Organization.

These reparistas, or reparationists, whichever you prefer, kept the internationalist view of the Pan Africanists, even when they don’t identify as such. They embrace the entire human family, while holding that the political and economic unification of the African continent and the coordinated democratic uplift of the African Diaspora is a giant and indispensable step towards human liberation worldwide. Their fundamental moral and political calculus centers international solidarity, with Africans and their descendants worldwide, and with oppressed people struggling against imperialism everywhere.”

Hey very interesting. A satisfying update on the not-so-Ignominous, “Reparations schema-Dura” but where placations not ought mislead. Seems the tryst has been and reparations can now be asserted for those afro-Amers in jails around the empire, to assuage their amenities of need. No, not attorneys but traditions remissals, of all afro-Amers in this insidious wasteland of “nucleaRism” and neglect of whatever tRibalist cabals should not be, yet of what tribal intrinsics have led to the tRaditions–probably so much in social-Disarray, as to be stoic-embrace of hegemony. Yet, they needed me to mention—I am pleased!      “R
