alternative measure to aggressive nuclear weapons stance
The alternative measure to aggressive ‘nuclear weapons’ stance has always been International laws and world-wide guidance of the United Nations–as described under the Human Rights Act of dec. 10th 1948–three years after the implosion and genocide of the US upon the Nippon island’s inhabitants. Some people today yet respect the act of “genocide” as necessity of exculpatory excise rendition, but rendezvous with masse death and portrayal of “lawless” measure, brought about the U.N. The many treaties since the humanitarian decree for ‘human rights’ thought and geography of the whole world, contiguous was no great ingraciation, but “hegemonyites” seem to play politics for wars UN-declared: since 1950, ad infinitum!
The “‘US’ Boomers generation” was brought into the shenanigans of US hypocrisy when the Beat/bohemian philosophical “Existential” sidelights proffered social significance. Many of us have been activists almost 40 years, because the needs for what “the hydrogen bombs” building and wastelands insobrieties, what the above ground testing in 38 states and half-dozen territory sites have suggested is a continual “war-machine”. The fact remains the same. Either you, we, they put a reduction limit to the total morass moribund excess of sheer numbers of the nuclear weapons the Def. Dept./ pentagons has proffered to the “secret memo stacks in Congressional leaders offices” or we do not elect warmonger/power-mongering autocrats to office–as the last four have been, one & ALL–or, we must contend that “the new Rome” has taken over and aggression into space will excise the remainder of truths of allowable ‘accountability’ into a burlap sack leftover from coffee grinds compost pile meagre necessities to upgrade denigrations.
Recently, the Executive Office chief administrator g-Enron extolled the United Nations and accosted the Irans’ foreign diplomats by accusations of their president, saying with the halo of imperviousness-in-excess, that Irans should not be allowed to process radioactive-Nuclides for “nuclear power plant fuels” isotopes that may also comprise into the Ur-238 an element, one of three necessary to implement high monies resources to further gather and mold centrifuges into a composite form then to be tested for one implosion/explosion of the atom. where they would do this , if they ever got beyond I.A.E.A. inspectors, the United Nations and other International diplomats, scores of professional liaisons of the ‘nuclear’ hypocrisy addendums worldwide, became the hype, the over-embodiment, the extravaganza of words from g-Enron in the shape of threat to use weapons i.e. the nuclear ‘bunker buster’ not fully made nor deployed for testing? His bluster was threat and focused on accusing a sovereign nation of the spectacle in covering-up the covetous of US “weapons on alert 6,660” forwarding the measure that we’re excused from fomenting the trouble that the US military/Pentagons has been doing since 1982!
The excuses go along, and wide acceptance to the curtness exorcised by so-called ‘diplomatic’ reason’ remains the podge of “hegemony” to occlude to any and all indifference as non-method, as the excuse “there is no exculpatory measure” when the US military/Executive office transgresses the reality”? So, I’ve been protesting the silos of WY-NE-CO since 1975, and ten days ago expressed my disbeliefs at the N-* silo with the “three Nuns” whose arrest for breaking the cyclone-fences, cutting a few holding chains link, and being incarcerated for 30-31-41 months was heartfelt, as their little hammers of 28 ounces couldn’t quite physically, dent their symbolitry of the weapons of masse-Annihilation, the lid which weighs an awesome 110 “tons”. Their documentary film previewing I recommend. Entitled “convictions” my hopes are the list will make the www.Truthout.com list. I’ve received lots of e-letters and the one I “re-wrote” formatting of I’ve included below, for public perusal–as I’ve written letters for 39 and more years of anti-Nuclear assuasion(s), which is helping me write about other “activists” to formulate the posterity of ‘computers, a better way to write or the decent approach for boomers’?
The following letter is response from www.UnitedforPeace.org or United for peace & Justice which are normal activists folks who have felt ingraciated to stand down the weapons through many anti-war contexts–as we-the-people, must see due, in order to see fit. “Not one more penny for war” has been my motto for letters and anti-Nuclear aggressions brought into social-Justice extents, through social-responsibility from S.A.N.E./FREEZE prior to 1982 ‘hegemonyites’ transgressions of economic ‘ripoffs’…
To Sen. Mike Enzi, Sen. Craig Thomas & Rep. Barbara Cubin:
I call on you to actively oppose an attack on Iran or covert military operations over there. An attack on Iran will result in thousands of deaths, not only in Iran but likely throughout the region. It will also increase popular support for the Irans tribalism and not the regime and make all of us less safe. If, the Bush administration is currently planning for possible airstrikes against Iran, and reportedly U.S. combat troops are already on the ground there, then it is your duty under the Constitution to persevere against reserve, i.e. to humbly make for Congress the decision on whether to go to war with Iran. “Not one more penny for war” our citizens motto for peace, as an attack on Iran would constitute aggression barred by the United Nations Charter and prosecuted at Nuremberg. The United States government should respect international law and Geneva statutes of accord while pursuing all peaceful, diplomatic means for resolving its dispute with Iran.
I also call on you to demand that the administration rule out use of nuclear weapons including “depleted uranium”. There are credible reports that the administration is considering the use of nuclear weapons to attack buried targets in Iran. U.S. use of nuclear weapons would be an atrocious act that would constitute war crimes and crimes against humanity and violate the near taboo that has held since the U.S. devastation of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. That would in turn make it far more likely that nuclear weapons will be used elsewhere – including against cities and people of this republic or military in this country. Iran does not present a threat to the United States but the war machine is a threat, too often?
The I.A.E.A. has determined that there is no evidence that Iran has diverted nuclear materials for weapons purposes. U.S. threats, however, may serve as an incentive for the most extreme elements in Iran to pursue a nuclear weapons option. The most effective near-term ways to prevent any Iranian effort to develop nuclear weapons are IAEA monitoring of its nuclear energy program and improvement of diploma-tic relations — two tasks made much more difficult by threatening to bomb Iran.
But much more must be done. To reduce the dangers of nuclear proliferation and nuclear war in the Middle East, the United States should support negotiations on a Weapons of Mass Destruction Free Zone in the Middle East that would include nuclear-armed Israel, and the global elimination of nuclear weapons. The United States should also demonstrate leadership by fulfilling its own disarmament obligation under the Nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty. This will require the United States to stop blocking negotiations on abolition and to take meaningful steps towards the elimination of its vast and sophisticated nuclear arsenal. Moreover, to address the inherent risk of diversion to weapons posed by civilian nuclear technology anywhere, the United States should promote sustainable energy alternatives, at home and internationally. And, when will “we” get off Oiel as ‘fu-el’ is yet an affirmed consideration on hold since 1975, period.
best regards to have a future without war always the past & present, apeco peace keepor, “R” Addison
